
Work Hours Requirements
Senior members: 20 hours/year
Associate members: 10 hours/year
Incomplete work hours: $35/hour, billed every spring
Logging work hours
As soon as you have completed work hours, send an email to: tmcc.workhours@gmail.com. Subject: <year> work hours
In the email, specify each task you performed, and the number of hours that task took, and the date the work was done. If your name is not clear from your email address, or if you are the spouse of a member performing work on their behalf, also specify the Senior Member's name.
What qualifies as work hours?
Here are some items that DO count towards your required work hours:
1. Helping with docks in / docks out
2. Checking moorings (including but not limited to your own)
3. Duty officer of the day
4. Yard work (reach out to tmcc.yardmaster@gmail.com to see what needs doing)
5. Helping with docks (reach out to tmcc.harbourmaster@gmail.com to see what needs doing)
6. Pretty much any project done for the benefit of the club and its members
Here are some items that do NOT count towards your required volunteer hours:
1. Helping on launch/haul-out day (all members are expected to help on these days)
2. Helping other members with their boats, including mast raising/lowering
3. Working on your own boat.
