The T.M.C.C. has developed a reputation for being both friendly and accommodating. We always welcome visitors.
During our sailing season (mid -May to mid-Oct.) there is usually someone around the club to give you a tour, particularly on weekends. Here’s how to find us.
By water:
Lat. 43º 38' 32" N
Long. 79º 20' 06" W
The T.M.C.C. is located in the north eastern corner of Toronto’s outer harbour, just north of the Toronto Harbour Marina, 1 mile east of the eastern entrance to Toronto’s inner harbour.
When you arrive, feel free to pickup any mooring that does not have a line attached (try the eastern end of the row). You may also come to the main dock, however, boats may not be left unattended. If you must head out for some reason, please put your boat on an open mooring.
Visiting vessels are granted 2 days free mooring.
Both the compound and the clubhouse are locked when members are not at the club. When they are open, visitors are welcome to use the facilities. Of course the BBQ’s are available at all times as is our large front porch, a great place to watch the sunset.
None of the water at the TMCC is safe for drinking! The Outer Harbour Marina (1/2 mi. due south of the club,) has water, ice and pump-out facilities.
Please drop by. We like to think no trip to Lake Ontario is complete without a visit to our club.
By Land:
The T.M.C.C. is located in Toronto’s Eastern Port Lands between Cherry and Leslie Street.
From the East:
From Lakeshore Blvd East, travel south on Leslie Street to the very bottom (don’t go through the gate to Tom Thompson Park).
Turn right onto Unwin Avenue and proceed beyond the small bridge approx. 1.5 km. to Regatta Road.
Turn left onto Regatta Road and just past the bike path, turn left into the long parking lot.
The TMCC is #16 Regatta Road, the last club in the parking lot, at the far eastern end.
From the West:
From Lakeshore Blvd East, travel south on Cherry Street to Unwin Avenue (just beyond the second bridge - don’t go into the parking lot for Cherry Beach).
Turn left onto Unwin Avenue and proceed 500m to Regatta Road.
Turn right onto Regatta Road and just past the bike path, turn left into the long parking lot.
The TMCC is #16 Regatta Road, the last club in the parking lot at the far eastern end.
By Bike:
The Martin Goodman Trail runs right past the club’s parking lot between Leslie and Cherry St.
By transit, the best way to get there is to take a cab from either Queen and Parliament, or Queen and Leslie. If you insist on taking the bus, the Jones bus (departing Donlands station) takes you along Commissioner's street.
