TMCC Regatta 2008

Notice of Regatta

We are looking forward to your participation in the 2008 TMCC Regatta which will be held on July 18, 19 & 20, 2008. The Regatta will consist of Racing and Cruising & Beach Cat Classes. See below for on-line or hard copy entry forms.

Rules

Racing will be governed by the Racing Rules of Sailing 2004. The prescriptions of the Canadian Yachting Association (CYA), and the sailing instructions.

Modified Portsmouth for Beach Cats

Dates and Times

Friday July 18th	1800 - Registration, Wine & Cheese
Sat. July 19th	Course Races Warning 10:30hrs (max 3 races)
Sun. July 20th	Course Races Warning 10:30hrs (max 3 races)

Saturday night BBQ and Dance.
Sunday night Awards dinner.

Awards

Presented Sunday July 20th. 1st, 2nd, 3rd place/class plus fastest elapsed time trophy.

In advance or at TMCC Friday July 18th

Sailing Instructions

Will be available during registration at TMCC

Equipment

Each owner/skipper shall be responsible for having aboard the required safety equipment

Rights Waiver

Neither the TMCC, officers, race committee, nor members assumes or accepts any liability or responsibility for property damage to any boat, or any personal injury to a skipper, crew or friends suffered while participating in this Regatta, including pre-race and post-race activities.

Accommodations:

For those of you who require accommodations, there is a nearby Quality Inn, Downtown, 111 Lombard St. 416-367-5555. The rate is approximately $95 and the rooms are double-doubles, with youths under 18 at no charge. A deluxe continental breakfast is included. Parking is extra at 11.75 per night.

There is also a good Bed & Breakfast agent, as follows: Toronto Bed & Breakfast, Phone: 416-588-8800 or 416-927-0354, Fax: 416-927-0838. Just tell them your activities center around a yacht club near Cherry Street and the Lakeshore. An activity package will be available at registration, but if you need any other assistance planning your visit drop us an email.
