Welcome

The Board of Directors and members of the Toronto Multihull Cruising Club extends a warm invitation to the members of reciprocal clubs We welcome you to two free nights per 30-day period; thereafter the fee is $15.00/day to a maximum of 7 days.

TMCC has adopted a policy of using email for our reciprocal letters.  We accord reciprocal privileges to anyone with a current membership in a club or marina that grants reciprocals.  We look forward to receiving your reciprocal information via email sent to tmccreciprocals@gmail.com.

TMCC is located at the east end and on the north shore of Toronto’s Outer Harbour. Just plug 43°38'31.8"N 79°20'04.2"W into your GPS and come on down.  Our clubhouse is the low, blue structure near the water’s edge.

Visiting vessels are welcome on the club’s floating docks (water depth is approximately 8 feet).  Our Club policy is that boats on the dock should be attended.  If you plan to be away for more than two hours, please put your boat on one of our (most eastern) “Guest Moorings” until your return.

Our club is remote from services and has basic facilities – power on the docks (no water), washrooms, shower, telephone (416-461-0028), picnic tables, and gas barbecues. Visitors are also welcome to use the kitchen facilities in the clubhouse and our friendly members will often provide transportation to the grocery stores in the area.

How to find us

The T.M.C.C. has developed a reputation for being both friendly and accommodating. We always welcome visitors. During our sailing season (mid -May to mid-Oct.) there is usually someone around the club to give you a tour, particularly on weekends.

Here’s how to find us:

By water:
Lat. 43º 38' 32" N Long. 79º 20' 06" W

The T.M.C.C. is located in the north eastern corner of Toronto’s outer harbour, just north of the Toronto Harbour Marina, 1 mile east of the eastern entrance to Toronto’s inner harbour.

When you arrive, feel free to pickup any mooring that does not have a line attached (try the eastern end of the row). You may also come to the main dock, however, boats may not be left unattended for more than an hour or so. If you must head out for some reason, please put your boat on an open mooring.  Visiting vessels are granted 2 days free mooring.

Both the compound and the clubhouse are kept locked when members are not at the club. When they are open, visitors are welcome to use the kitchen and lounge facilities. Of course the BBQ’s are available at all times as is our large front porch, a great place to watch the sunset.

We have a combination lock on our 'man-gate' (just beside the main double vehicle gate). On weekends, the duty officer can provide you with the current combination so that you can leave the property.

NOTE:  None of the water in taps or on the docks at TMCC is safe for drinking! Drinking water is available in the water cooler in the kitchen.

The Outer Harbour Marina (1/2 mi. due south of the club,) has water, ice and pump-out facilities.
Please drop by. We like to think no trip to Lake Ontario is complete without a visit to our club.
By Land:

The T.M.C.C. is located in Toronto’s Eastern Port Lands between Cherry and Leslie Street. Regatta Road is private and does not show up on all maps or gps units.

From the East:

From Lakeshore Blvd East, travel south on Leslie Street approx. 1km to Unwin Ave. Turn Right (west) and travel approximately 2km., over the bridge, past the large generating plant on your right. to Regatta Road (on your left). There is a large sign listing all of the sailing clubs in the Outer Harbour Sailing Federation and a soccer field just beyond.
Turn left onto Regatta Road and just past the bike path, turn left into the long parking lot.
The TMCC is #16 Regatta Road, the last club in the parking lot at the far eastern end.

From the West:
From Lakeshore Blvd East, travel south on Cherry Street to Unwin Avenue (just beyond the second bridge - don’t go into the parking lot for Cherry Beach).
Turn left onto Unwin Avenue and proceed 500m to Regatta Road.
Turn right onto Regatta Road and just past the bike path, turn left into the long parking lot.
The TMCC is #16 Regatta Road, the last club in the parking lot at the far eastern end.

By Bike:

The Martin Goodman Trail runs right past the club’s parking lot between Leslie and Cherry St.
By transit, the best way to get there is to take a cab from either Queen and Parliament, or Queen and Leslie. If you insist on taking the bus, the Jones bus (departing Donlands station) takes you along Commissioner's street.
