Farrier F25c - Hull #33 For Sale

It is with mixed emotions I am selling my F25c. After a couple moves and the boat spending last season on the trailer and still not much signs of being able to sail it this season, I’ve decided to put it up for sale. Purchased by myself in 2013, it has gone through a major restoration. You can see pictures of some of the restoration in this YouTube video.

A newer F28r carbon mast has been cut to length and custom fitted. Custom raising system probably better than original F25c system. Boat has bare minimum inside to stay on the light side.

New set of 4 UK sails:

  • Mainsail X-Drive Carbon/Poly 160 Profile (2 side taffeta) 5.2oz with 9 Full Battens and 1 Reef

  • R/F Jib, X-Drive Carbon/Poly 160 Profile (1 side taffeta) 3.8oz with Battens and UV Cover

  • Screecher Tri-Radial CZ 05 2.0oz with Zipper and Furling Luff Rope

  • 2A Spinnaker Challenge Elite 43

The mainsail and jib have been used 4 or 5 times. The screecher was used twice and spinnaker was used for about 3 minutes.

I also have 4 old sails:

  • Mainsail: very old and not much use left in it

  • Jib: Newer and still in very good shape and very light and crisp

  • Screecher: old and not much use left in it

  • Spinnaker: Older, still in good shape and much smaller than standard F25c regulation. Comes with sock for ease of use.

Replaced the original rudder with longer 42” built by “Phil’s Foils” and also replaced the bowsprit and bowsprit port in the bow. Bowsprit also built by “Phil’s Foils”. The bow of the boat has been repainted in 2017 and is now all white. Trailer and other small accessories included (Jacks/Stands, Porta Potty, wires, ropes, floating devices, horn, etc).

Asking $60,000US

Contact me for more details and if you’re interested. Boat located in Ottawa Canada.

Newick Custom 42 foot Trimaran:

LOA: 42 feet - BEAM: 29 feet - Draft: 1.5/8 feet - Displacement: 7,000 lbs light - Hull material: CP

Pados is a Creative 42 foot trimaran designed by Dick Newick. Her wing-style akas greatly increase interior volume and cruising potential. She has been fitted with a nicely finished and light weight interior. She was carefully built in 1995 to a very high standard. The Designer reports that with seven persons aboard, PADOS sailed at well over the true wind speed in 10 knots of true wind. Manoeuvrability under power is excellent with new twin outboards. She has always been sailed in the fresh water of the Great Lakes basin.  PADOS is located in Ontario.
